The past weekend, I heard a quote that just sort of blew me away. It goes:
A true friend is someone who knows your song, and will sing it back to you so that you won't forget.
Do I know my friend's songs? And what if their songs are songs of sadness? I guess the speaker meant 'song' in terms of their life goals and promises, but I can't help but wonder, what each and everyone's songs are. Sometimes, I forget my song, but I hope I've a friend who hasn't forgotten, and will sing it back to me every once in a while to remind me where I'm headed.
